Labor Day Weekend - Badgers on the East Coast

This past Labor Day weekend, a college friend came to New Jersey to visit me and explore the state. It was great hanging out and catching up especially since we weren't too close in college. It's weird knowing that we only graduated 4 months ago. It feels so much longer!
I took her to the Edison Tower and of course, the shore. It was too bad our trip to the beach was cut short because of lightning in the area.

On Labor Day, we went into the city for free kayaking and a walk on the Brooklyn Bridge. Rain was also supposed to be in the forecast but it turned out to be a beautiful, sunny day. It was great fun and got our tans back as well as got sunburned. Oh well, it was worth it!
